We pride ourselves on our patients’ comfort. Dr. Gutiérrez’s staff can help you with questions about your treatment, insurance, and procedures. Here’s what you should expect as a patient:
Your initial consultation will be the time when you’ll get to meet the staff and Dr. Gutiérrez. We’ll ask you to fill out some paperwork, then we’ll talk about your dental and medical histories.
If you decide to use our office for your orthodontic needs, we’ll set up your next appointment. We will provide an oral exam and take some X-rays of your mouth, jawbone, and skull so that Dr. Gutiérrez can determine your treatment plan.
At your next appointment, which usually is scheduled about 4 to 6 weeks after your exam, you will have your appliance installed and received instructions on its care.
Depending on the kind of treatment you’re using, you will return to our office about every 4 to 8 weeks for adjustments.
The patient and any other person responsible for payment has a right to refuse to pay, cancel payment or be reimbursed for payment for any other service, examination or treatment that is performed as a result of and within 72 hours of responding to the advertisement for the free, discounted fee or reduced fee service, examination or treatment.
