For this reason, we will continue to follow OSHA, AAO , And Florida Dept. of Health Guidelines have We instituted the following protocol effective immediately, for all appointments in our office. Please review this information prior to attending your visit and contact us if you have any questions.
Our office procedures have temporarily changed and will include a comprehensive screening process. Because of the screening process below and to abide by social distancing guidelines, we are recommending that only the patient with the appointment enters the office.
If the Patient is Age 10 or Younger
If the patient is age 10 or younger and would like accompaniment, we are only permitting 1 family member to come into the office. Please note that the accompanying family member will not be permitted in the clinic operatories under any circumstance.
If the Patient is Age 11 or Older
If the patient is age 11 or older, we are not permitting a family member to come into the office. We will be emailing you a report after the appointment and can answer any questions by text or phone call.
Prior to Coming to Your Appointment:
Complete our Supplemental Health Questionare and Consent (within 1 day of your appointment if possible).
Brush and floss your teeth at home as our brushing station is closed.
Bring a mask.
Refrain from drinking or eating anything extremely hot or cold as it can alter your results for an accurate temperature reading.
Come 10 minutes early so we can complete our screening process.
At Your Appointment:
If you have not submmitted your photos yet please do so.
Once we reach out to you, we will need for you to submit photos of your teeth through our website finestsmiles.com click virtual consultation scroll to existing patient if you are a patient with braces; if you are a patient with aligners you will have access to our exclusive Virtual Care through “My Invisalign” app or Through these apps you will be able to stay connected with our office, monitor your progress and even do your regular check ins.
Once we receive your photos and Dr Gutierrez has evaluated them, you will be contacted again to now follow the next step:
If you are a patient wearing aligners and your photos show good progress and aligners are tracking you will be able to come in and pick up your next set of aligners. If an appointment (attachments, refinements, etc) is needed we will let you know the date and time. we will be able to see you.
If you are a Braces patient, pictures will show your progress and we will contact you to schedule your next appointment either in-office or Virtual
The day of your appointment you can only come in as follows:
ALONE → If you are an adult.
ALONE → If you are a teenager (parents should wait out of the office).
ACCOMPANIED → If patient is a child ( We will only allow 1 parent or guardian to come in if patient is 12 or younger)
Please follow current CDC guidelines and come in with your own face mask.
Please Stay in you car and Check in from your car, text 813-906-9598. Include the patient name and a message that says “HERE”.
We will reply to your message and we will let you know when we are ready to see you. We will take your temperature prior to coming into the office if your temperature is 99,6 or higher your appointment will be rescheduled. We will call you to refer you to the nearest testing location and will have to notify the Dept. of Health as per current guidelines.
If your temperature is normal we will walk you back to our ” Hand wash station” And given a Peroxyl rinse, after that we will be able to proceed with your appointment.
